Q + A

We’re so excited to celebrate with you! Here’s everything you might be wondering about the weekend—from what to wear to where to stay to how to get yourself to the dance floor in one glittery piece. If you’ve got a question that’s not covered here, just reach out—we’ve got you.

What's the dress code for the wedding?

Think semi-formal meets a vivid garden dream. We want the whole celebration to feel like it bloomed into technicolor—so please, bring on the brights, the prints, the fun silhouettes. The vibe is festive and bold, not black tie or buttoned-up. If your outfit makes you want to twirl (or strut), you're doing it right. (Need inspiration? Floaty dresses, loud suits, jumpsuits, glitter, metallics, statement accessories. No jeans, flip-flops, or anything that whispers “I didn’t try.”)

Are children allowed at the wedding?

We love your little ones—but our ceremony and reception spaces are adults-only zones. That said, we will be hiring a babysitter for the evening nearby. If you’d like to take advantage of the childcare option, just let us know when you RSVP and we’ll coordinate from there.

When should I arrive? / What’s the schedule?

The ceremony starts at 4:00 PM sharp. Guest shuttles will be provided to the ceremony between 3:25 and 3:45 PM, so please arrive no later than 3:45 to catch a ride. You’ll want to be shuttle-ready by 3:25—so however you want to make that happen, plan accordingly.

Can I bring a plus one?

If your invitation includes a plus one, you’ll see that noted when you RSVP. If not, we’re keeping it tight due to venue capacity—but we still love you. If this is an issue with travel plans, text us and we'll chat :)

Should I bring a gift? Where are you registered?

Your presence is truly the gift—but if you feel moved to give something, we’ve set up a cash registry to go to our honeymoon and season tickets to the Valkyries.

Where should I stay?

Check the Travel tab on our wedding website—we’ve got recs for hotels nearby. The reception is in Mill Valley, and shuttles will handle ceremony transport. If you’re making a weekend of it (we hope you do!), we’ll also send a local guide with ideas.

Will there be food and drinks?

Yes, and yes. Expect a full dinner, tasty cocktails, and some late-night snacks to keep you dancing. We’ll have vegetarian options and non-alcoholic drinks, too—just let us know any dietary needs when you RSVP.

What should I do in the area while I’m there?

We’re so glad you asked. Tiburon and Mill Valley are stunning—think ocean views, redwoods, cozy coffee shops, and wine bars. We'll send out a little “things to do” guide soon, with recs for hiking, brunching, and taking in the bay. We'll also send out recs for our favorite places in the city if you want to spend time before/after the wedding exploring.

What’s the best way to get there?

Guest shuttles will be provided for the ceremony (Old St. Hilary’s has gorgeous views but very limited parking). You can drive or Uber to the reception venue in Mill Valley afterward—plenty of parking there. If you’re coming from SF, it’s about a 30–40 min drive depending on traffic.

What about health and safety?

We want everyone to feel comfortable and safe celebrating together. If you're feeling unwell, please take a COVID test before joining us. Masks are welcome, hand sanitizer will be flowing, and we'll have some extra tests/masks on hand just in case.
